for Microcirculation and Vascular Biology

 

Starting in 2010 the Dutch Society for Microcirculation and Vascular Biology grants a bi-annual award honouring the best thesis in the field of microcirculation and/or vascular biology.

 

The award consists of a certificate and a honorarium of €1000,- (sponsored by PERIMED AB, manufacturer of equipment for microcirculation measurement) plus a complimentary registration to the Cardiovascular Conference.

 

Participating theses will be judged by a jury of three experts in the fields of microcirculation and vascular biology.

 

The PERIMED Thesis award of the Dutch Society for Microcirculation and Vascular Biology will be presented during the MiVab parallel session at the Cardiovascular Conference.

 

Applicants must:
- have a main thesis subject concerning microcirculation and/ or vascular biology
- be a MiVab member for a minimum of 1 year
- have presented work from his/her thesis during a MiVab meeting (at least once)
- have defended his/her thesis no more then 2 years prior to submitting for the award
- not have submitted his/her thesis for the award previously
